Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. After the release of two singles as well as an album titled Satisfied in 2007 she formed the group Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album called Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of Riverside Illinois. Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years of experience working as a public servant, which includes almost five years as the Deputy City Manager in Iowa City. In her position as the Assistant Village Director she oversees managing the Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating grant applications and finishing special projects. Ashley's job at Riverside is to assist with the day-to-day operation of village services and implement the strategic vision set forth by the elected officials. Ashley's roles include municipal planning budgeting, management of staff and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on environmental initiatives. Ashley's involvement with national organizations as well as working with communities that have diverse populations have given her insight into how organisations that are of any size function. Ashley's teaching focuses on current approaches to leadership and management in public sector organizations, based on her experience as a practitioner. She is focused on adjusting strategies and ethical decisions in order to meet today's opportunities and challenges. She also helps manage intergovernmental relations.

Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father).
